From April 2013 the water quantity produced by the wells started to drop. The missing quantity was supplied from the grid. This trend led to shutting down even the last well in October
2013. Since then, the meat plant has been meeting its water demand exclusively from the grid.

During the recommissioning the main problem to be solved was the high concentration of iron, manganese, and ammonium in two of the three wells, and the high arsenic content in one well. In addition, water in all three wells has a high Na content.
